Ordinance on how to comply with the RVT (recovered, vaccinated or tested) requirements to contain the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infection

The Ordinance is valid from 6 September 2021 onwards until revoked.

Dear Residents,

Please be informed that on 4 September 2021, the Ordinance on how to comply with the RVT (recovered, vaccinated or tested) requirements to contain the spread of SARS-CoV-2 infection was adopted (Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 142/2021, hereinafter referred to as "the Ordinance"). The Ordinance also implements the RVT condition (recovered, vaccinated or tested) on service users in education and training activities, including higher education, with effect from 6 September 2021. The Ordinance stipulates that students who do not meet the RVT condition shall be self-tested once a week at equal intervals.

How do I get the self-tests?
The tests (five tests per month) can be picked up free of charge at pharmacies upon presentation of a health insurance card or, if the student is a foreigner and does not have a health insurance card, a certificate of enrolment and an ID.

Taking the swab correctly and performing the test correctly
To ensure that the swab is taken correctly and that the test is performed correctly, follow the instructions for self-testing in 6 steps (infographic) or the video demonstration of self-testing (video).

What should I do if I get a positive result from self-testing or if I feel unwell?
In case of a positive self-test result, as well as in case of signs and symptoms of disease (regardless of whether the RVT condition is met), you should stay at home and inform your personal doctor, who will refer you for a PCR test.

Other precautions: protective masks, hand disinfection, extraordinary instructions for stay...
In dormitories, it is still compulsory to wear a protective mask, disinfect your hands, keep an adequate distance between people (at least 1.5 m) and ventilate indoor areas. The currently valid Extraordinary instructions for stay to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease will be brought into line with the current instructions of the competent ministry and other competent authorities in the coming days. As before, you will be informed about new developments via the Moj Študent app and by posts on the institution's website.

We hope you stay well and greet you warmly.
