Coronavirus and Dormitory Accommodation, 17 January 2022

Update of Extraordinary Accommodation Instructions.

Dear residents,

Due to the growing number of infections in the last period and to prevent spreading of COVID-19, we would like to repeatedly urge you to act responsibly and follow the Extraordinary Accommodation Instructions for staying in the Student Dormitory Ljubljana, which were updated in accordance with current NIJZ (National Institute for Public Health) instructions including links.

It is especially important to act responsibly in case of signs of illness, contact with infected person, confirmation of infection or in case of a positive self-test result. All relevant instructions can be found in the updated Extraordinary Accommodation Instructions.

Regardless of the fulfilment of the RVT requirement, we encourage you to self-test in case of signs of illness or in case of contact with infected persons.

RVT CONDITION AND SELF – TESTING
To enter dormitories of ŠDL, it is necessary to meet the RVT condition (recovery, vaccination or testing); whereby the RVT condition is met if the user identifies with a valid document and has one of the above evidence (current data on when a person meets the RVT condition is available here). Residents who do not meet the RVT condition must undergo regular self-testing every 48 hours. Compliance with the self-test requirement is proven by the Self-Test Record Sheet. For residents who do not meet the RVT condition, self-testing is organized every Monday and Wednesday between 18.00 and 20.00 and every Friday between 10.00 and 12.00 at six locations (Dom III, ŠD3, Dom Poljanska, Dom AK, Dom Litostroj and Dom A). The exact locations of the organized self-testing are listed in the Extraordinary Accommodation instructions.

Before entering the premises of ŠDL or dormitories, relevant evidence together with a valid identity document must be shown to the receptionist.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREVENTING INFECTION
The use of a surgical mask or a mask of the FFP2 type is mandatory on the premises of the ŠDL. In addition, the general instructions for the prevention of infection with COVID-19 (i.e. interpersonal distance, hand washing and disinfection, cough hygiene and intensive room ventilation, etc.) must be observed.

PROHIBITION OF GATHERING
Temporary ban on gathering of people still applies. Gathering of people is only allowed if they are close family members or members of a joint household.

As usually, we will keep you updated with all novelties via MojŠtudent application and on the institute's website.

Hope you're staying safe and healthy,

ŠDL Management
